North Cyprus
Due to the timeline of the IVF process, our patients are usually in Cyprus getting treated for around 1 week. Cyprus is a beautiful island country located at the heart of the Mediterranean sea. It is known for being a fun and safe vacation destination with its amazing white sand beaches and world class 5 star resort hotels. Cyprus is also globally recognized for its medical tourism, which has helped boost the island’s economy for the past 3 decades.
Flying to Ercan Airport in Cyprus takes around only 1 hour from Istanbul Airport, which is the easiest and shortest way to travel to our clinics, including Crown IVF clinic. Otherwise, you can fly from the UK and European countries to Larnaca Airport in South Cyprus, and our designated drivers will pick you up and bring you to our clinic for treatment.

Visa Requirements For North Cyprus
Visa-Free Entry: Citizens of most countries can enter North Cyprus without a visa in advance. For many nationalities (including EU, UK, USA, Canada, Australia), short stays of up to 30 to 90 days are allowed. EU/EEA citizens may even enter using an ID card in lieu of a passport.
Visa on Arrival / Entry Issued at Border: For most countries (except a few such as Armenia, Nigeria, Syria), no prior visa is needed; a visa or entry permission is issued at the border/port of entry. The length of stay granted typically cannot exceed 90 days within any 180-day period.
Residence Permits / Long Stays: If you plan to stay longer than the allowed short-stay period (i.e., longer than the visa/entry grant, typically over 90 days), you must apply for a residence permit. Recent amendments (2025) eased rules for foreign property owners: for example, foreign property-owners with a registered title deed may obtain a 5-year residence permit without needing to prove minimum income.

Visa Requirements for Georgia
Visa-Free Entry: Citizens of over 90 countries (including the EU, UK, USA, Canada, Australia, and most CIS countries) can enter Georgia without a visa for up to 1 year.
E-Visa: Nationals of eligible countries can apply online for an electronic visa, valid for short visits.
Visa on Arrival: Available only for citizens of a limited number of countries.
Passport Validity: Passports must be valid for at least 6 months beyond the date of entry.
Residence Permits / Long Stays: Those planning to stay longer than 1 year or work in Georgia may require a residence permit.
